Rustic Ridge
2008 Security Report

As I told you yesterday, the ridge was relatively quiet this past winter except for a lot of snow. So much so that other then North lane (a town plowed road)and woodruff way which was used somewhat frequently by vehicles (and maybe plowed by someone)all the other roads had a least a foot of snow through out the season. The real concern was the amount of snow that had accumulated on the roofs, maybe 18-24 inches in depth. A number of times through out the season I had to use a snow rake to remove the snow from our roof as the snowfall didn't let up and certain accumulate piles on the ground didn't disappear till late April. Despite all the snow on the roofs, I didn't see any snow damage. Thank heaven for that.
